Treatment results and longevity can vary due to individual lifestyle factors. Factors such as metabolism, exercise and smoking may affect treatment longevity.
On average results last :
Lip fillers: 6 months
Dermal fillers: 6-12 months
Anti-wrinkle injections: 3-4 months
Profhilo: 3-6 months
Mesotherapy: 6 months
Dermal and Lip fillers: Immediate results
Please bear in mind that swelling and redness will be present immediately post injection.
Anti- Wrinkle Injections: 2 weeks for full results
You may notice an effect within 3 days but full effect takes 14 days. If needed a top up can be provided at 2 weeks review appointment.
Profhilo: 4-8 weeks for full results
Profhilo works deep in the skin to provide remodelling from the inside. For this reason results are not seen immediately. The treatment involves two sessions spread 4 weeks apart. You may notice improvements at 4 weeks but patience is key, the full beauty of the treatment becomes apparent after 8 weeks.
Mesotherapy: individual results vary depending on number of treatments received
Some mild discomfort may be experienced with injectable procedures. Most people find treatments tolerable and can even return straight to work if needed.
Some procedures can be more sensitive such as lip fillers and it is possible to use numbing cream or injections.
Common side effects after injectable treatments include redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising. For the majority of people this is mild and subsides quite quickly.
Prior to any treatment you will have a full consultation where all possible side effects will be discussed in more detail.
A thorough medical history will be taken at the consultation stage to ensure you are suitable for treatment.
As a guide you will not be suitable if :
You are pregnant or breastfeeding
You are currently taking or have recently completed a course of Roacutane
You have a previously been treated with a permanent injectable implant
You are immunocompromised
You are undergoing certain medical treatments
You have previously experienced allergic reactions to any of the ingredients or local anaesthetic
If you have a special occasion such as a wedding or birthday Dr Nathalie recommends completing treatment a minimum of 4-6 weeks before the big day.
